½ cup (60g) breadcrumbs
¼ cup (60ml) milk
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 egg
½ teaspoon

¼ teaspoon
black pepper
¼ teaspoon
ground allspice
¼ teaspoon
ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons
butter
1 tablespoon
vegetable oil
For the Creamy Gravy:
2 tablespoons
butter
2 tablespoons
all-purpose flour
1 cup (240ml) beef broth
½ cup (120ml) heavy cream
1 teaspoon
soy sauce
½ teaspoon
Dijon mustard
For Serving:
Mashed potatoes
Lingonberry sauce
Pickled cucumbers
Cooking Steps For Köttbullar
Step 1: Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs and milk, letting them soak for 5 minutes.
Add ground beef, ground pork, onion, egg, salt, pepper, allspice, and nutmeg.
Mix well and shape into small, round meatballs.
Step 2: Cook the Meatballs
Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Fry meatballs in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the pan and set aside.
